Association: A visit by members of the association to the Democratic Republic of the Congo in October

The Egyptian African Association for the Marble and Granite Industry, the Industry and Industrial Division of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mr. Bami Kazila Kalala, will form a luncheon for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the delegation will be headed by a member of the Congolese Ministry of Trade and Dr. Nevin Wassef, President of the Egyptian Congo and a group of eight bedrooms and five members of the Egyptian Association for the Marble and Granite Industry.

Therefore, Mohamed Aref, President of the Egyptian African Association for the Marble and Granite Industry, decided that Zesta has contracted a pavilion at the Egyptian Products Exhibition to Kinshasa, the Congolese capital, which will be held on September 26, and also decided to establish an expert training center in marble installation methods in the Congolese capital, Kinshasa.

Aref participated in his newspaper today, for the event of joining the members of the scientific group specialized in the marble and granite industry during the coming month of October.
The material and human capabilities available to them, which represents an incentive to work together to advance economic and trade relations so that they reflect the close relations and ties that unite the two countries and peoples, in addition to the two countries’ efforts to raise the volume of trade exchange and encourage joint projects in various economic sectors.

He noted the increase in the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and the member states of the “COMESA” agreement – which includes the Democratic Republic of the Congo – in recent years. The matter did not stop there, but extended to reach an increase in the volume of mutual investments between them, in addition to cooperation in many social activities.

He stressed that Egypt accounts for the largest share of the volume of inter-trade with the COMESA countries, and seeks to increase the volume of trade to $8 billion by the end of next year compared to $5.4 billion in 2022.
