M. O. Group for Food Industries proudly announces its participation in ISM Middle East 2024 for sweets and snacks, taking place from September 24 to 26 in Dubai, alongside the Private Label Exhibition.
The ISM Middle East for Sweets and Snacks is a leading event that brings together top companies and specialists in the confectionery sector, providing a unique opportunity for networking and building new business relationships.
Importance of the Exhibition and Its Role in the Market
Hamdy Elabrak, Chairman of M. O. Group for Sweets, stated that the ISM Middle East exhibition, which is considered the regional edition of ISM in Cologne, Germany, will feature over 300 exhibitors from 30 countries. The exhibition presents an opportunity to attract more clients and exchange ideas within the industry, making it a crucial starting point for companies looking to expand their operations and export.
Elabrak added, “Our participation in ISM Middle East comes at a time when the regional market is showing significant growth in demand for these products. We view this exhibition as a golden opportunity to connect with new customers and explore innovative export opportunities.”
Export Opportunities and Expansion into New Markets
Elabrak pointed out that the Middle East is a promising market for various food products, especially sweets, as buyers seek products beyond local offerings, particularly amid ongoing population growth and political and economic developments.
He stated, “We see ISM Middle East as a genuine opportunity to expand our business, as we export to around 40 countries across various markets.”
M. O. Group’s food exports recorded an 80% increase in 2023, reaching $8 million.
Expansion into European and American Markets
Hamdy Elabrak mentioned that the group aims to expand into the European and American markets in the near future, as part of its plan to export 50% of its production by next year.
The group plans to add new production lines for biscuits and chocolates and to increase its exports of dry sweets, chocolates, bonbons, and other products in the upcoming period.
M. O. Group’s Vision
M. O. Group considers its participation in ISM Middle East not merely an opportunity to showcase products but an investment in the company’s future. With a focus on innovation and product quality to discover the latest trends in the world of sweets, the group hopes to enhance its presence in international markets and increase its market share.
